Six of these pups were rescued at UCSC by Nanette Hardin and others who transferred them to WCSV for their rehab time, where they have a state of the art predatory mammal enclosure. Photo credit to Carmel de Bertaut, the animal care coordinator at Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley.

Coyote pups

This young Redtail Hawk came to Native Animal Rescue in Santa Cruz, California with one eye, sick and unable to fly. With many months of intense rehabilitation, this beautiful bird grew strong and was able to fly as well as hunt! We were able to release him back into the wild where he was originally found. A wonderful ending to this rehab story.
